Deanna Kopf, CPM
Deanna Kopf is the mother three beautiful children and a Certified Professional Midwife. Her first two births were typical hospital births and her third was a wonderful, natural birth at home. Her homebirth in 2007 inspired her to want to help other people achieve their dream of an empowering natural birth, which led her on her path to midwifery. Deanna began her clinical training in 2008 with a CNM in Baltimore. She worked with a busy midwifery practice for 2 years, attending births as a doula and a student midwife, in hospitals and at home. She became a DONA certified birth doula in 2009. In 2010 Deanna began apprenticing with a midwifery practice under both a CNM and a CPM, and became certified as a CPM through the Portfolio Evaluation Process (PEP) in 2013. She has attended over 600 homebirths both in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Additionally, Deanna is certified in CPR and neonatal resuscitation, as well as Birth Emergency Skills Training. As part of her training, Deanna also attended a Hypnobabies childbirth education class and has attended many Hypnobabies births.

Martie Vinson, Student midwife
Martie Vinson has held a lifelong interest and appreciation for the birthing process. She served a year long internship with Valerie Hall, Certified Professional Midwife in Idaho, from June 2016-June 2017. This phenomenal experience provided her with invaluable insight into the field of professional midwifery. Martie received her doula certification through Maternitywise International in June of 2019, after which she began building her business by partnering with another like minded doula provider in the greater DMV area. Her many inspiring role models and positive birth experiences have fueled her passion and commitment to supporting people in creating the individual birthing experience they want. In her free time, Martie can be found spending time with friends and family, enjoying delicious food, and reading up on the latest fashion and beauty trends.
